3. THE LIKELY EFFECTS IN SOUTH EAST ASIA CONFIDENTIAL OF THE RECOGNITION BY HIS MAJESTY'S GOVERNMENT OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT. THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering a reportby the Joint Intelligence Committee, Far East, on the likely effects in South East Asia of the recognition by His Majesty's Government of the Chinese Communist Government. In discussion, it was pointed out that the subject dealt with in the report by the Joint Intelligence Committee, Far East, was covered at the Conference of Far East Representatives at Bukit Serene.
