TOP SECRET (2) Approved the draft report on the implications of the defection of Nationalist Forces on the security of Hong Kong, as amended in discussion, and instructed the Secretary to submit it to the Chiefs of Staff. (3) Instructed the Joint Intelligence Staff to revise their draft report on the measures which could be taken to prevent equipment in Formosa from falling into Communist hands, for clearance by the Committee as soon as possible. 2: PRIORITIES FOR THE COLLECTION OF TOP SECRET INTELLIGENCE IN THE FAR EAST THE COMMITTEE had before them a revised draft report+ examining a reportby the Joint Intelligence Committee, Far East, on the priorities for the collection of all forms of intelligence in foreign territories in the Far East.
