THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering a letter from the Intelligence Organisation, Allied Commission for Austria (British Element), in which approval was sought to a proposal that when the Austrian Peace Treaty had been ratified, any deserters who came into the hands of the Intelligence Organisation, and with whom they could not adequately deal, should be despatched to General Staff Intelligence, British Army of the Rhine.
