TOP SECRET (e) It was suggested that paragraphs 98 to 103 of Part I of the brief dealing with the combat efficiency of the Soviet Navy, might be re-arranged to bring out more clearly the fact that the main naval threat was expected to be from Russian submarines. The Admiralty undertook to look into this matter. (f) With regard to paragraphs 149 to 162 of Part I of the brief dealing with the strategic intentions of the Soviet Union, the War Office suggested that these paragraphs should be re-arranged since they considered that the present sequence was illogical.
