It did not seem to be apparent to the Joint Intelligence Committee, Far East, that as it would not be possible to reinforce the Far East on mobilisation, any establishment drawn up by them would have to be provided initially from their own resources. (c) There was a standard scale of Interrogation Unit for a theatre with which the Joint Intelligence Committee, Far East, did not appear to be familiar.
