BRIGADIER BOUCHER said that the final section from paragraph 43 of the report. envisaged a different set of circumstances, i.e. the event of war between the allies and the Soviet Union, from those applicable to the remainder of the report. He considered, therefore, that it would be more appropriate if this section were made the subject of a separate study. The issue involved dealt more with the question of our general policy in the Far East in the event of a major war, and, as such, was being covered.
