2. REVIEW OF THE STATE OF INTELLIGENCE AVAILABLE ON A CERTAIN SUBJECT TOP SECRET SIR STEWART MENZIES drew the attention of the Committee to the report+ now in the course of preparation reviewing the state of intelligence on a certain subject, and the questioned the desirability on security grounds of the inclusion of certain material therein. THE JOINT INTELLIGENCE STAFF said that in the initial stages of the preparation of this report they had endeavoured to write it as factually as possible, with a view to framing certain recommendations regarding the improvement of intelligence on this subject.
