2. SOVIET GUIDED MISSILE PROGRAMME TOP SECRET COMBINED STUDY (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(49) 1st Meeting, Minute 4) THE COMMITTEE had before them two minutes+ by the Secretary covering a detailed report by the Combined AngloAmerican Conference on Guided Missiles, and a summary of the report. GROUP CAPTAIN BUXTON said that in order to provide a firm foundation for assessing Russia's guided missile programme, it had been necessary for the combined study to go into considerable detail. This detail was covered in the main report and it was intended that this should not be circulated except among intelligence staffs.
