MOBILISATION PLANS WHICH ARE THE TOP SECRET RESPONSIBILITY OF THE J.I.C.: REQUIREMENTS FOR AN INTER-SERVICE SECURITY BOARD (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(49) 26th Meeting, Minute 4) THE COMMITTEE considered a minute+by the Secretary containing the views of the Joint Planning Staff that it was unlikely that a major or minor inter-service operation would be launched either from this country or overseas in the early stages of a future war and, therefore, there would appear to be no requirement for an Inter-Service Securitv Board to be set up on mobilisation.
