'X' 'Y' In discussion there was general agreement that in the light of the foregoing it would not be practicable to suggest that the Western Union Organisation should be responsible for co-ordinating the policy for non-tactical demolitions in Germany, Austria and Trieste. The Committee's interest in this matter was confined to ensuring that somebody or other had this responsibility and that the necessary economic intelligence was made available to them. It was, therefore, suggested that the Working Party should prepare a report from the information already available to them in the form of guidance on non-tactical demolitions.
