MEETING WITH THE JOINT INTELLIGENCE TOP SECRET STAFF (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(48) 138th Meeting, Minute 1(viii)) THE COMMITTEE had their monthly meeting with the Joint Intelligence Staff for discussion on subjects for examination particularly of a long term nature. THE COMMITTEE had before them:(i) a minute by the Secretary+ covering a minute by the Chairman suggesting a long term subject for study; (ii) a minute by the Secretary* reporting five further subjects suggested by the Joint Intelligence Staff.
