consideration to the implications of the categories of desirable defectors and also to suggestions for a precise definition of defectors as opposed to refugees or deserters. MR. HAYTER said that, in the light of developments since the Committees original report on the procedure for handling defectorsø, it might be of advantage to consider the preparation of an up to date consolidated report on this subject early in the new Year. He suggested therefore that this matter should be placed on an appropriate Agenda and that meanwhile the Secretary could assemble the relevant information.
