"X" Interim Reports. MR. WATSON recalled that the Joint Intelligence Bureau had originally been invited to produce quarterly reports. It was suggested, however, that they might also be asked to answer ad hoc questions on the subject and to draw the attention of departments, by means of short interim reports, to such matters of importance as might arise between quarterly reports. In discussion agreement was expressed with this suggestion. Supplements containing infortation from special sources. It was agreed that supplements containing information obtained from special sources should not be issued as a matter of routine.
