"X" 2. PERSONNEL FOR DETAILED INTERROGATION CENTRES. SECRET. (Previous reference:J.I.C.(48) 110th Meeting, Minute 3). THE COMMITTEE considered Minutes by the Secretary covering Admiralty+, war Officex, and Air Ministryø views on the possibility of providing a nucleus organisation for detailed interrogation in peacetime. MR. CAREY-FOSTER said that the Admiralty and War Office had made certain suggestions for providing a nucleus peacetime organisation, but the general consensus of opinion appeared to be that, owing to shortage of manpower, little could be achieved.
