The Committee took note of a telegram from the Joint Intelligence Committee (Germany)ø reviewing the situation in Germany at the 26th October, 1948. Certain additional items of intelligence were also considered. THE COMMITTEE had before them a Minute by the Secretary+ covering a report by the Joint Intelligence Committee (Far East) on Communist influence in the Far East.
