Ministry of Education in which it was stated that Mr. BirchJones of the Ministry of Education considered that Professor Elizabeth Hill was the only hope for training Russian interpreters. Professor Hill was responsible for the tuition of Service students at Cambridge. WING COMMANDER BALDEN said that a Joint Services Language School would have the advantage of producing a uniform standard in students. CAPTAIN MOORE said that the Director of the Joint Intelligence Bureau was of the opinion that use should be made of the educational experts in the training of students in languages.
