COLONEL ANDERSON said that the GOC, Northern Ireland maintained close contacts with the Chief of the Eire General Staff and that it would be possible for the matter to be discussed unofficially by them. THE COMMITTEE:(a) Invited the Admiralty and the War Office to make the approaches referred to in discussion on a personal basis. (b) Invited the War Office to endeavour to ascertain the whereabouts of the Officer referred to by the Commonwealth Relations Office and the nature of the information obtained by him.
