As far as the Joint Intelligence Bureau was concerned he would welcome a quarterly examination of economic and industrial indications of Russian intentions. X In discussion it was agreed that the Joint Intelligence Staff should examine all pertinent evidence under the headings listed in the report on Indications of Russian Preparedness for War, but should confine their draft report to a summary of the most significant points and a statement of conclusions.
