GROUP CAPTAIN BRODIE recalled that discussion on air matters between the Five Powers had proceeded independently of the talks arising out of the signing of the Brussels Treaty, and that they were now well advanced. There was, however, no provision for the security examination of information passed to the other member countries by the U.K. representatives at the air talks, and he thought that a similar problem would arise in connection with any sub-committees set up by the Military Committee to examine matters affecting one Service only.
