He asked whether any information as to the reaction of the Ministry of Supply to the suggestion for selecting another site for the air display had been received. Continuing, he said that he understood that a decision had been taken to open the Radar Research Establishment at Malvern to the public for four days during the Malvern festival. Although steps might be taken to prevent unauthorised persons from obtaining information on classified matters, he considered that such a step raised a question of principle since security interests had apparently not been taken into account.
