3. REQUESTS FOR C.I.A. PUBLICATIONS THE COMMITTEE had before them:(i) a minute* from the Secretary covering a letter from the Admiralty stating that the Americans would prefer to receive British requests for their National Intelligence Studies in bulk. (ii) a minute+ by the Secretary covering a letter from the Joint Intelligence Bureau suggesting that they might be recognised as the agent for all Departments wishing to obtain copies of the National Intelligence studies, MR. WATSON said that it might be confusing for local Commanders if they received both the American study and the J.I.B.
