THE COMMITTEE :(a) Instructed the Secretary, in consultation with the Joint Intelligence Staff, to circulate a statement on the appreciations which were necessary in view of the agreement of the Staff Conference to the report by the Chiefs of Staff on future Strategy, for consideration at the meeting of the Committee (Deputy Directors) on Wednesday, 24th March. (b) Instructed the Joint Intelligence Staff to revise the draft paragraphs to the report by the Joint Planning Staff on basic assumptions on the lines of the discussion.
