2. MARKING OF DOCUMENTS CONTAINING INFORMATION OF U.S. ORIGIN. (Previous reference: J.I.C. 1510/47, dated 17th December, 1947) THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering, at Annex I a letter from the Secretary of the Joint Intelligence Committee in Washington setting out the views of the Joint Services Mission in Washington concerning the instructions to be issued for the marking of documents containing information of U.S. origin, and, at Annex II, draft instructions on the subject prepared by a Working Party, in the light of the views of the Joint Services Mission in Washington and in consultation with a member of the Joint Intelligence Committee in Washington.
