'X' (a) Arab reactions in Palestine, and in other Arab States as they affected Palestine. (b) Jewish reactions in Palestine, and elsewhere as they affected Palestine. (c) Short term developements regarding Communist and Russian influence in Palestine. (d) Developements in the United Nations and progress made by the United Nations Commission. (e) Any developement, which affected Palestine, in situation regarding oil and the security of oil installations. THE COMMITTEE:(a) Agreed to the Terms of ReferenceX issued by the Secretary, entitled "Certain short term intentions in Palestine", and instructed the Joint Intelligence Staff to prepare a draft report accordingly in consultation with the Colonial Office.
