BRIGADIER HIRSCH suggested that the views of the Chiefs of Staff on the reportø by the Joint Planning Staff on the military implications of withdrawal from Palestine should be taken into account in preparing the terms of reference for the report. THE SUB-COMMITTEE :Instructed the Secretary to prepare a draft terms of reference for a report on the lines suggested by the Director of Naval Intelligence, taking into account the views of the Chiefs of Staff on the report by the Joint Planning Staff on the military implications of withdrawal from Palestine, and to circulate it for their approval.
