COLONEL QUILL said that there were many arguments in favour of encouraging the right wing movement in order to assist in countering the Communists and other subersive elements, encouraged by the Russians. He considered that many of the best leaders in Germany were included in the right wing movement and if they were brought into the open, good use could be made of them in leading Germany towards recovery. MR. JOHNSTON said that it was the Government policy to prevent extreme right wing elements from gaining strength.
