THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute* by the Secretary, covering a minute by the Secretary of the Illegal Immigration Committee requesting a full appreciation of the illegal immigration organisation and its methods of arranging the traffic. BRIGADIER HIRSCH said that it would be desirable to collect all available information before embarking on a full appreciation of this nature, and he suggested that the military authorities in Germany and Austria should be asked to assist by supplying suitable material.
