1. STANDARD NOMENCLATURE FOR RADIO AND RADAR (Previous Reference: J.I.C. (47) 14th Meeting (0) Minute 4) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minute* by the Secretary, covering a letter* from the Chairman of the British Joint Communications Board, in reply to the views expressedø earlier by the Sub-Committee. WING-COMMANDER ADAMS, in amplification of the letter from the Chairman of the British Joint Communications Board, explained that the principal object of preparing a standard nomenclature was to ensure that books and papers prepared by the various Ministries and Departments should quote the same nomenclature.
