'X' Continuing, MAJOR-GENERAL TEMPLER suggested that the matter be referred to the Chiefs of Staff for a policy ruling. He understood, however, that a report on the subject was being examined within the Admiralty, and he thought it would be advisable to await the result of this examination. REAR ADMIRAL PARRY said that the syllabus at the Naval Staff College possibly differed from that at the Staff College at Camberley, in that it concerned strategical rather than tactical subjects and, therefore, a high proportion of the information given was highly secret.
