(ii) He thought that, if the Press were permitted to publish the arrival of cargoes, omitting the quantities in detail, there would still be no control of the method employed by various newspapers for describing the quantities. (iii) It would not be feasible to ask the Press to withhold information about imports into other countries. He knew that the details of imports were not published in either Canada or the United States, but he was not sure exactly how the restrictions were imposed. (iv) Details of movements of uranium and thorium and their respective ores were being omitted from the trade returns in this country, in Canada and in the United States.
