2. RELEASE OF INFORMATION FROM CAPTURED DOCUMENTS THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Minuteø by the Secretary containing comments received on a draft reportto the Chiefs of Staff on the release of information from captured documents; and suggesting that, in the light of these comments, a report to the Chiefs of Staff was no longer necessary but that the Sub-Committee should agree to a procedure to be adopted for implementing the ruling of the Chiefs of Staff≠ on the release of such information, in conjunction with the Americans.
