SECRET ANNEX A DIRECTIVE FOR AIR MINISTRY ON AIR RECONNAISSANCE 1. The Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre (United Kingdom) will be sponsored by the Air Ministry on behalf of the other Services, the Joint Intelligence Bureau and the Directorate of Scientific Intelligence, in accordance with a Charter approved by the Chiefs of Staff. 2. The administrative and functional control of the Joint Air Reconnaissance Intelligence Centre will be the responsibility of the Air Ministry, who may delegate administrative control to a subordinate Air Force formation, if such an arrangement is considered to be expedient.
