(a) AMG-1 (b) AMD (d) P 9. TOP SECRET A moored mine laid in a bomb-shaped fairing case without parachute. Release conditions speeds up to 260 knots at heights between 328 and 525 feet (100 to 160 metres), and speeds up to 180 knots at heights above 525 feet up to the maximum of 1968 feet (600 metres). All up weight 2,398 lbs. Maximum depth of water in which laid 72 fathoms (432 feet). Magnetic-acoustic ground mine in two sizes, large and small, of which at least the latter could be laid by parachute.
