4 TOP SECRET 8. Under construction.—The effect. of attacks on aircraft at their bases would only be temporary unless it were possible to prevent replacements being flown into the bases. It is unlikely that a large reserve of Jet light bombers will have been established before the end of 1955. Until then the only significant source of replacements will be the factories producing these aircraft. We believe that Jet light bombers will be produced at Irkutsk and perhaps at Moscow (Fili, Khimki and Tushino), Voronezh and Omsk.
