Security in a Certain Country

1 Jul 1951

SECRET GUARD (b) The Service de Securite des Forces Armees has promulgated plenty of good rules, but it is uncertain how far the security practices approved by the S.S.F.A. are, in fact implemented. Similarly, the regulations laid down for industrial security are very thorough, but they are not always applied. (c) It is doubtful whether screening is systematically carried out by the Civil Ministries. The Tripartite Working Group was told very little about their security, but it was clear that it was not so well organised as security in the Service Ministries and in the Ministry of Defence.
