TOP SECRET GUARD ANNEX POSSIBLE SCALE OF ATTACK BY THE GUATEMALANS ON BRITISH HONDURAS The Guatemalan Army 1. The Army, whose total strength is about 4,500, is organised into eight infantry regiments. Its main strength lies in two Battalion Combat Teams stationed in Guatemala City. They are known as 1st and 2nd Regiments, each having an establishment of about 800 all ranks. The detailed organisation is given in Appendix A. Both are near establishment in personnel and weapons and have been well trained by the United States Military Mission.
