We are entirely in sympathy with your desire for the S.H.A.P.E. intelligence staff to be provided with the fullest possible up-to-date information. We endorse the basic principles with respect to intelligence for SHAPE enumerated in paragraph 6 of your above quoted telegram. We have directed that General Airey shall have direct access to appropriate officers in the U.K.
