CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE JOINT PLANNING STAFF DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO GERMANY Report by the Joint Planning Staff At their meeting on 9th February, 1951+, the Joint Intelligence Committee discussed security implications regarding German rearmament and her contribution to Western Defence and asked the J.P.S. for guidance on the information that it would be necessary to disclose to the Germans. 2. We understand that there is no question of seeking approval for the release of this information until negotiations with Western Germany have gone further.
