SECRET ANNEX Directive ACTION TO BE TAKEN ON THE ACQUISITION OF EQUIPMENT OF SOVIET, SATELLITE OR OTHER COMMUNIST MANUFACTURE 1. Should any equipment of Soviet, Satellite or other Communist manufacture come into British possession by any means whatsoever local Command Headquarters should be informed at once. In no circumstances should the equipment be returned without instructions from the Command Headquarters. 2. Command Headquarters should ensure that the necessary examination, photography and collection of samples are completed as soon as possible.
