H.E. bombs are known up to 10,000 lbs. It is not considered that orthodox armour piercing and deep penetration bombs will be used from low altitudes for lack of striking velocity, but it is thought that armour piercing bombs with a rocket unit in the tail to give increased striking velocity might be used against a protected or armoured target.
