Prohibition of the Flight of Czech Aircraft Across Germany

1 Jul 1950

SECRET GUARD Conclusion 7. We therefore conclude that political and intelligence arguments against withdrawing Czech over-flight rights in Germany considerably outweigh the comparitively small security risk in allowing such rights to continue. Recommendation 8. We recommend that the Chiefs of Staff endorse this report and forward it to the Foreign Office as an expression or their views. (Signed) D.P. REILLY E.W.L. LONGLEY-COOK A.C.
