(50) 22 THE COMMITTEE had before them a report by the Joint Intelligence Committee on the likely effects on neighbouring countries of Tibet coming under control of the Chinese Communists. It was doubtful whether, if Tibet fell into Communist hands, it would have any effect on the settlement of differences between India and Pakistan.
