TOP SECRET 6. The Nationalist Government has continued its "blockade" of Communist held ports and is reported to have stopped several ships. On the 23rd June the Egyptian "STAR OF SUEZ" was stopped by an unidentified warship in the vicinity of the Shanghai Pilot Vessel. She was allowed to proceed after her papers had been inspected and the Shanghai pilot had been removed to the Nationalist Warship. The same Nationalist warship had already removed six European pilots from the Shanghai pilot Vessel before intercepting the "STAR OF SUEZ".
