(c) Transport Force The present strength in military transport aircraft is about 900. This number is likely to be considered adequate for war if the present expansion of the Civil Air Fleet continues and in the expectation that the Air Force will be re-equipped with larger and more efficient military transports before 1957. (d) Reconnaissance Aircraft No great expansion in the numbers of reconnaissance aircraft is anticipated. At present the total number of these aircraft is of the order of 900. 7.
