Attendance of Commonwealth Students at Training Establishments and Staff Colleges. Report by the Joint Intelligence Committee

1 Oct 1948

Up to now, there has been no discrimination against Indian and Pakistan army students. If they have taken a course, arrangements have been made to exclude Top Secret and Secret information from that course. Indian and Pakistan army students will, however, be attending the next course at the Army Staff College. The course is divided into six tutorial periods, and Top Secret and Secret information is confined to the last of these periods. Foreign students leave at the end of the fifth period, and a decision will have to be reached as to whether the same ruling shall apply to Indian and Pakistanistudents.
