Joint Appreciations 5. Appreciations prepared on a/joint basis are passed into the Western Union Organisation through the U.K. Delegation to the Military Committee, as a brief in the preparation of combined appreciations in the Intelligence Division. The Combined appreciations are Metric Documents and are adequately safeguarded by Metric procedure. This is the channel proposed by the Chairman, Western Europe Commanders-in-Chief Committee for appreciations, with which we therefore agree. "S.R." Intelligence (British) 6.
