ANNEX USE OF "METRIC" Report by the Joint Intelligence Committee We have noticed that the Permanent Commission and the Military Committee of the Five Powers do not appear to be adopting a uniform policy regarding the use of the codeword "METRIC". Some documents issued by the Permanent Commission and relating directly to political information exchanged under the Brussels Treaty have not been marked "METRIC"; on the other hand practically all papers circulated by the Military Committee are so marked although in some cases the marking appears not to be warranted.
