TOP SECRET BMC/75/48 General Hollis MILITARY COMMITTEE SECURITY. With reference to your minute, number COS.1044/25/6/8 of 25th June, 1948. 2. In considering the security of information tabled at the Military Committee of the Five Powers, I think it is well to bear in mind that my colleagues are fully aware of the lack of security in their own countries and of the importance of safeguarding information connected with the Brussels Treaty talks. Up to the present the other Powers have very severely limited the distribution of documents issued by the Military Committee.
