Disclosure of British Military Information to Foreign Nations. Report by the Joint Intelligence Committee

4. We should emphasise that the rules we propose do not govern the disclosure of classified information of U.S. or joint U.S./U.K. origin. 5. We recommend that the Chiefs of Staff approve the revised policy we propose at Annex, and instruct the Secretary to submit it to the Minister of Defence as on expression of their views. (Signed) W.G.
