(iv) A campaign to seize control of the Middle East and the Suez Canal area. (v) A campaign against China, Japan and American bases in the Pacific in so far as the Soviet Union can support it without prejudice to operations in other areas. (b) A campaign against Scandinavia and air attacks on Pakistan may also be undertaken concurrently with those in (a) above or as necessary. (c) On the successful conclusion of the campaign in Western Europe (and possibly Scandinavia) an full scale sea and air offensive would be directed against the British Isles.
